Paint It Black (2024)

This is my cover of the Rolling Stones - Paint It Black first released in 1966. I've always liked this song and looked at several covers on YouTube. I bought this song from JamTrax for about $4.00 (as I've done with several other songs). JamTrax recreates songs using studio musicians and makes these available with separate tracks. I use the tracks to learn from and also use some of their tracks for drums, etc. This one had a Sitar track which I used as I don't have any plugins to simulate a Sitar. Brian Jones (R.I.P.) of the stones played a Sitar on the original. I slowed my cover down a bit and dropped the key from Em to Dm.
