This is my cover of The Air That I Breathe by the Hollies. I did my usual deep dive on YouTube Premium to find various covers of this song. I came across a version by The Mavericks. I was blown away by their singer so looked up more info. His name was Raul Malo. He passed away on December 8, 2025, at age 60 following a cancer battle (R.I.P.). He was regarded as a great vocalist by many of his peers. I was going to try the vocals myself but after hearing him I decided to have the Mavericks vocals on my cover.
